wish: support for kerning by FONY

I don't know much about FNT and FON formats by I think that FON format supports kerning (it seems logical to me that each FNT module has it's individual kerning info).
I didn't find in FONY program any support about kerning manipulation. I wonder if this support can be added somehow (by a new version of FONY or by antother freeware).
